Recently voted the most sporting town in Australia, Narrabri offers a host of recreational facilities, including an Olympic pool, 18 hole golf course, bowling club, tennis courts, camping and aquatic retreats.  Twenty minutes drive from Narrabri is the CSIRO Australian Telescope, complete with air conditioned visitors centre and BBQ facilities. Ten minutes further will have you at Yarrie Lake that provides all facilities for the camper or day tripper.  Water skiers are most welcome here but a permit is required.
